Our Pennine Care colleagues won three categories at the Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion Awards last night, and were finalists in a further four.
Kyra-Li Lowe, administrator with our child and adolescent mental health services, won the wellbeing champion award for creating a wide range of activities to benefit colleagues and patients.
Radcliffe Place project team won innovation champion, for their work to set up the service to keep young people with a learning disability out of hospital.
Janaki Chodavarapu, physio therapist in Stockport learning disability team, won the rising star award for growing into a sought-after specialist who families love to work with.
Our other finalists were Greater Manchester Resilience Hub, Jennifer Wilbourn, Katy Wilson, and our Black, Asian and minority ethnic champions Saima Kauser, Rifat Naz, and Suleman Qayyum.
Congratulations to these and all the other winners and finalists, it was a great night of celebrating health and care excellence across the region.
