It’s been a week of amazing award success for colleagues at Pennine Care.
At the Nursing Times Workforce Awards, we won Best Employer for Diversity and Inclusion for our lived experience of homelessness pilot.
As part of this project we worked with with Groundswell , Pathway, and the Royal Society for Public Health to support people with lived experience of homelessness start careers as healthcare support workers.
We were also finalists for the Best UK Employer of the Year for Nursing Staff, Best Recruitment Experience for our trainee healthcare support worker roles, and Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year.
And it was a triple success at the Royal College of Psychiatrists North West Awards.

Dr Anney Roy, our speciality and associate specialist (SAS) lead, won SAS doctor of the year.
And Mohammed Khan, a resident at Heathfield House rehab and high support service, won service user of the year.
