Claire Molloy, our chief executive, has formally confirmed that she will be retiring next year after nearly 30 years in the NHS.
Claire will leave in April 2022 which will allow us time to appoint another exceptional chief executive to take our organisation into its next leadership phase.
Claire joined Pennine Care four years ago and has made a big impact during this time. She has developed and implemented a new vision, values and ambitious five-year plan and her passionate commitment to staff wellbeing and improving working lives has been as focused as her commitment to delivering high quality care to patients.
As we move into the next phase of our recovery, we are keen we look for a chief executive who can continue our journey of cultural and service improvement and reflect the positive values and leadership style epitomised by Claire.
There will be plenty of time for us to thank Claire personally for everything she has achieved before she leaves, but we are sure you’ll join us in wishing her the very best following this announcement.
