Greater Manchester Month of Hope runs from World Suicide Prevention Day on the 10th September until World Mental Health Day on the 10th October.
The Month of Hope is about raising awareness of suicide, encouraging people to have open conversations about their mental health, and sharing positive messages of hope.
We're joining with organisations across Greater Manchester to support the campaign, and there are plenty of ways you can join in too:
- Share what gives you hope on social media using #MonthOfHope (please tag us in too @PennineCareNHS).
- Salford Vigil of Remembrance - 10 September
- Tameside Vigil of Remembrance - 10 September
- International Association of Suicide Preventions (IASP) Cycle Around the Globe- 10th September- 10th October
- Words of Hope: online poetry reading event - 23rd September
- Take the free 20-minute training to learn how to save a life.
