A new service to provide mental health support for health and care staff affected by critical incidents or traumatic events in work has launched in Greater Manchester.

The critical incident and trauma service, run by our Greater Manchester Resilience Hub, will provide specialist psychological support to help mitigate the impact of work-place trauma on individuals and teams.

You can find out more about the service at www.penninecare.nhs.uk/gmrh-staff.

For other mental health and wellbeing support, healthcare staff should speak to their employer, GP, NHS 111 mental health option or contact NHS Talking Therapies.
