NHS staff survey - most improved

The NHS annual staff survey results show that we are the most improved mental health and learning disability trust in the country for being seen as a good place to work.

We were ranked as the best place to work out of all the mental health and learning disability trusts in the North West’ - and we came second out of all the trusts in Greater Manchester (after The Christie).

The results also show that more of our staff feel patient care is our top priority, which is hugely important.

There are still areas that we need to improve on. People feel they need more staff to do their job properly, that there are unrealistic time pressures, and many are unhappy with pay.

Pay rates are managed at a national level, but we will continue to do everything we can to support colleagues and teams in every possible way.
