Sexual safety statement

We are committed to keeping patients and colleagues safe.

This includes a zero-tolerance approach to any unwanted, inappropriate and/or harmful sexual harassment and abuse.

We have signed the NHS sexual safety charter at work. The charter commits to ten principles and actions to safeguard staff. The charter includes prevention, support and decisive action against abusers.

We must all ensure the NHS is a safe space for colleagues and patients, and a place in which sexual misconduct, violence, harassment or abuse will not be tolerated.
