The Bury Living Well Service launched in January 2025 to help people get the right mental health care and support, in the right place, as early as possible.
Lots of local partners, people with lived experience and carers have worked together over the last few years to make services easier to access and more joined up.
About the service
The service is run by Pennine Care, Bury Council The Creative Living Centre and BIG in Mental Health.
It brings together experts from mental health, social care, primary care (GPs), housing, employment, substance misuse, people with lived experience of mental health and more.
Via your GP, you can easily and quickly be referred to the right professional or service for your needs.
You might receive support from one or more professionals at the same time.
Sharing your information
To make sure we can effectively support you, we’ll need to share key pieces of information about you with all professionals involved in your care. This will include personal details (e.g. name, date of birth, address, NHS number etc), details about your condition, treatment and care and other vital information.
Your information will always be held and shared in a safe and secure way in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Read more about how we use and safely store your information.
