Heathfield House (Stockport)
Heathfield house is a step down rehabilitation unit for males aged between 18 and 65 based in Stockport.
We provide 24 hour nursing inpatient care. You could choose to receive treatment from us, or you may come to us after being detained under the Mental Health Act.
You will usually stay with us for between 18 and 36 months, but we can provide care for longer.
We can help if you have a history of challenging existing service provision, serious self-harm (though not within the last three months), or time spent within 24 hour continuous nursing care.
To help you achieve your highest level of independence, functioning and wellbeing, our support consists of three stages: assessment; engagement and recovery. We aim to involve you in your care wherever we can, and we tailor support so it is as well suited to you as possible.
We offer unescorted leave and rehabilitation activities.
The general admission pathway into the unit is from Greater Manchester NHS, with agreement from your local integrated care board.
